We are the oldest Scout Group in Dartford. The Group consists of Redwood Forest Beaver colony, for 6-8 year olds, Livingstone Cub pack for 8-10 year olds and Beater Scout Troop for 10 - 14 year olds. All sections are open to both boys and girls.

We have a small active team of Leaders and Trustees.

If you are interested in joining our adult team, or have a young person who is interested in scouting, please contact info@1stdartfordscouts.org.uk

1st Dartford Scout Group promotes the aims of the Scout Association, to develop young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials. In other words to become the best they can be.

At 1st Dartford we do this by bringing young people together to enjoy fun, friendship and adventure, at the same time emphasising teamwork. We encourage and take part in outdoor activities whenever possible. Activities which are not usually part of other clubs or youth groups.

The Leaders encourage the young people to become responsible members of their local community, while also teaching them about their wider place in the world. The Group involves itself in many local and national fundraising events.

The Group aims to make a difference to each young person who becomes a member of our Scouting family.
